STANDARD PRIVATE RATES
30 min consult - $77.30 ($85.00 incl. GST)
45 min consult - $110 ($121.00 incl. GST)
60 min consult - $131.80 ($145.00 incl. GST)
60 min small group consult (3-4 people) - Upon arrangement
An initial appointment of 45 min is typically recommended for people with chronic illness or injury to allow for taking of history, assessment, treatment planning, and commencement of intervention if deemed appropriate. Please keep in mind that the objective at (RE)FIT is to achieve the desired outcome as effectively and efficiently as possible. While individual requirements vary greatly, the typical treatment course (development, education and instruction of your individually tailored intervention) is between 1-5 visits. This could be all you need to put you on the right path indefinitely. Of course, the option to receive additional consultations (for ongoing support, motivation and/or supervised, private training at our fully equipped “gym”) is available if desired. This will be discussed with you during your initial visit.
PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE
You may be eligible for a rebate from your PHI fund. Check with your fund for level of cover for Exercise Physiology. HICAPS available on-site for immediate claiming.
MEDICARE - Bulk billed with concession/health care card
If you have a chronic condition (asthma, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, musculoskeletal conditions, stroke, and others) ask your GP if you are entitled to a referral for exercise physiology under a GP managed care plan. You may be eligible for a medicare rebate of $56.10 per consult for up to five consults per calendar year. HICAPS available for onsite processing of medicare claims.
WORKCOVER/ICWA - No out of pocket expense
If you have been injured at work or in a motor vehicle accident and you believe you may benefit from, or have been referred for, exercise rehabilitation, under an open insurance claim you are entitled to choose your service provider. Make an appointment at (RE)FIT for your Initial Assessment and Treatment plan. We will contact your insurer for approval, and with your consent, we will liaise with treating physicians, practitioners and rehabilitation consultants to ensure a co-ordinated team approach to your treatment.
VETERANS
DVA Health Cards (gold and white) are accepted as payment upon referral from your GP.
NDIS
Provision of one-on-one exercise therapy and/or exercise prescription for eligible, self managed or plan managed, NDIS patients. We will liaise with treating physicians, practitioners and care providers to ensure a co-ordinated, team approach to your treatment.
